About the event
Both veteran comedians and novice funny-makers take to the stage at Rebels Comedy Club with the singular purpose of splitting some sides with hilarity. The club was co-founded by a stand-up aficionado, Ann Marie, who forged a career down the mean streets of New York, and now welcomes both local and national comedy heroes to do what they do best during the latter hours of the night. Before the giggles and the downright outbursts commence, both thirst and hunger can be quenched and satisfied with a bucket of five beers and food platter to share, complete with tasty chicken goujons, chips, sausages and dips.
About the venue
While comedy happens up top, down below sits the LV Bar, an intimate pub where revellers are invited to gather within its low-lit surroundings. It is well stocked, with stacked wines and taste bud tantalising beers on tap, while live music two or three nights a week keeps everyone in good spirits and the atmosphere nice and jolly.
