Seabeds are usually maintained by underwater gardeners, whose main task is to pull the seaweeds. Cultivate your taste buds with today’s Groupon: €19 for five dim sum dishes and a glass of wine each for two at Yuan Ming Yuan.
Decorated with traditional Chinese elegance reminiscent of the Qing Dynasty, Yuan Ming Yuan is a Far East fine dining establishment in the centre of Cork City. As they are seated, diners are instantly warmed by the ambience and the Ancient Chinese carvings on the pillars and railings, which lend a true authentic feel to the restaurant. The muni hosts classics like aromatic duck and pancakes, chicken in Kung Po sauce, and fillet beef in black pepper sauce, as well as refined dishes such as steamed lobster and beef belly in five spices, which give this particular eatery a classy edge, as do the noodle bar and dim sum menu.
Two guests will be able to select five dim sum dishes, which are popular and authentic Chinese delicacies. Diners may pick the crab meat and seaweed roll (€4.90), the BBQ pork buns (€3.90), or the sticky rice in lotus leaf (€4.90); while the more adventurous might opt for the pork hock in red bean sauce(€5.90) or duck tongue(€5.90). A glass of wine is also metaphorically thrown in.

Wonderful food with beautiful aromas and tastes, Salt and pepper squid to start followed by a devine [sic] hot pot of duck (very tender) prawns and chicken.

A great selection of Chinese dishes. Try the hot pots: very nice. Lunch with dim sum is also a good option.Staff remembered me even though I moved away from Cork 4 years ago (!).
