If a full Irish breakfast isn’t quite enough edible goodness, tea and homemade cakes will be on hand for the extra peckish. With a late checkout of 2pm, there is plenty of time for appreciators of exquisite scenery and village hospitality to explore Kenmare’s lashings of both.

Reviews

Brook Lane Hotel is rated 9.1/10 on Booking.com and TripAdvisors awarded it 4.5/5. Guests sung praise for the comfortable rooms, friendly staff and hearty breakfasts. There was also a special mention made of nice walking paths into the old town.

After a sound sleep, we very much enjoyed the hotel breakfast, characterized by a nice spread of the usual cold choices (breads, cereals), and a full menu of hot choices including porridge with assorted accompaniments such as honey and cream (my wife's choice) or Bailey's Irish Cream (my choice)...we both opted for the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon en croute....WOW!

You need a place to relax in? There is no better place than the Brook Lane, kenmare where rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is an Irish hotel with Irish staff who offer a typical Irish welcome and a breakfast to die for...highly recommend it.
