The establishment is run by make-up and image consultant extraordinaire Joan Cashman, who has headed up a number of business, and is a regular contributor to beauty and fashion magazines. During the courses, Joan covers an array of techniques for building up confidence in make-up application, pinpointing the latest trends on Powerpoint presentations, and devising a balancing act between demonstration and hands on prettifying.
The fast-paced course will uncover the secrets of applying make-up for maximum effect as well as maximum suitability for every face, with all equipment and makeup tools provided. The course will reveal how to get the most out the eyes when it comes to eye shadow colours during a colour analysis and will demonstrate the ways to perfect the perfect eyebrow arch shape. During 10 minute makeovers on other course members, ways to create dramatic smoky eyes, pouty lips, and day-to-evening looks are revealed, as well as matching foundations to complexions, and the simplest ways to camouflage imperfections. Once mental notepads have been filled to the margins , tutees can take home an eye pencil, and take advantage of a 10% discount off products purchased on the day.
