After three spicy rounds with a chicken curry it may be time to signal for the hot towel. Pack a culinary punch with today’s Groupon: €18 for an Indian main course for two with rice or naan plus shot of mango lassi each at Indian Brasserie.
Dishing up a mesmerising dining experience with the use of fresh Irish produce, Indian Brasserie brings the flavours of the subcontinent to Rathfarnham Village. The restaurant roast, smoke, pickle, and grind their own spices, as well as prepare their own marinades, all of which can be purchased on site to infuse homespun meals with an extra punch.
Diners can duck under arched doorways before taking a seat, where a welcoming mango lassi shot (€1.50) provides the sweet start. Main course options include kerala pepper chicken with roasted coconuts (€14.95), and kadai prawns (€17.95), cooked with vine tomato sauce and fresh ginger. Dishes can gain their full potential with a side dish such as pilau rice (€3.25) or perhaps peshwari naan (€3.50)each.
Reviews
Indian Brasserie has attracted an emphatic 5/5 stars from TripAdvisors, as well as favourable reviews from the Herald and Ireland Guide. Reviewers celebrate the varied and authentic menu, awarding special mention to the main and dessert platters, and also praise the level of service.
This is an authentic Indian food eatery; the food is fantastic. The eat-in menu is different to the take-out but if you ask they will serve from both; also as they cook from scratch they can vary the food to your taste which is great with kids. The staff are friendly and knowledible [sic] and the atmosphere is serene; I personally would prefer Indian to modern music in the background but that is my only fault. We have eaten here at least once a month for the last year and not tired of it yet!

Went there with my partner and we both had the Thaali platter, aboslutely fancastic [sic]. The waiter explained each dish to us and was really friendly. I tried a couple of dishes I would not have ordered previously and they were delicious. Very good value also.
