Providing VTCT and ITEC qualifications, the Dublin Institute of Beauty and Holistic Therapies has been teaching beauty mastery and wellbeing chaos control in a real salon environment since 1991. Practicing on members of the public, therapists leave the institute with skills and cuticle scissors honed in preparation for self-employment or salon roles. The centrally located Institute shares a building and a biscuit tin with Aspens Beauty Clinic in Dublin 2, and is opening its doors and wine bottles to visitors on October 19 for an open day to offer information on courses provided.

Available for full or part time study, students on these courses will receive a VTCT/ITEC diploma. Covering best business practice and health and safety as well as the techniques, the course also includes practise on real paying clients to prepare learners for the big, bad beauty world. Kit and uniform is included, and students can choose weekend learning to accommodate weekday working.
