The horse is a noble animal, unlike other farmyard residents, who can be cowed and sheepish, prone to ducking out and being chicken. Befriend a brave beast with today's Groupon from Kill International Equestrian Centre. Choose from the following options:• €10 for Child’s pony play session (50% Off)
• €15 for group riding lesson (53% Off)
• €29 for private riding lesson (52% Off)
The qualified instructors at this AIRE approved centre spur riders on in lessons ranging from elementary courses to competition training. A family-run premises with well-equipped stables and range of facilities, prospective learners can find it hard to hold their horses when faced with classes such as stable management and lunging. The centre hosts competition events for easy riders, runs horsey camps and offers birthday parties for pony-loving children.
To help them stay safe in the saddle, children get taught straight from the horse’s mouth, with lead rein pony play sessions for youngsters aged four to nine years. Both children and adults can rein supreme in a group lesson, cantering alongside other riders. Alternatively, for those who want to improve at a gallop, a private lesson from a trained instructor could simply be horse sense.
The Kill International Equestrian Centre has not yet attracted many reviews, however, one visitor was enthusiastic in their recommendation of the centre, praising the supportive staff and large riding areas.
Spacious, well maintained and with in-and-outdoor riding rings, this is the place to go for introductions, refreshers or Olympic-grade riding lessons. Each grouping is managed well by centre staff and experienced students -watching a group of under-tens take their first few trots around an indoor ring, I was delighted by the positive encouragement of the instructor (and the high level of safety -lead holders for every horse waiting to help, protective vests and helmets all around... I don't remember all that in my horse camps!).
