Pirouetting onto stage with the en-pointe guidance of Prima ballerina-turned-artistic director Monica Loughman, La Sylphide is an enchanting fantasy starring acclaimed dancers Anton Korsakov and Evgenia Obraztsova. The story of love and despair will be danced across the stage in a performance that will showcase the thunderous talents of the Russian and American guest stars and their support in the tight-wearing guise of the full strength of the Monica Loughman Ballet. Gracefully populating The Convention Centre, Dublin, on the 18th of March the ballet will welcome guests with a ticket in either the circle, or the stalls. Once seated, audience members will be immersed by a captivating performance of young love, winged sylphs, and wicked witches.
