The Tullamore establishment easily earns its four stars with the likes of a 20 metre swimming pool, a heated outdoor hydro therapy pool, and a leisure club waving their white flag of accreditation. Opulent furnishings are sprinkled throughout the hotel and a contemporary menu is cooked up using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients in the restaurant.
One or two nights can be spent in the luxurious rooms, the evening light secluded by the heavy draped curtains and plump pillows inviting a rest in the king sized beds. Breakfast in the mornings was excellent and dinner in the restaurant was good. The gym and pool facilites [sic] were brilliant - the outdoor hot tub being a particular highlight. The staff stole the show though and were unbelievably friendly, courteous, accommodating and actively helpful.
