A restored 14th century building with snippets of past frescoes still present, the Dimora Casa Eugenia paints a perfect portrait of Tuscan tradition. Widely recognised as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, Tuscany contains a rich legacy of art, gastronomy, and high culture. Terracotta and Carrara marble buildings stake their claim in the towns and cities, while the beautiful countryside is dotted with quaint farms and sweeping vineyards, with many a cellar piled high with bottles of the region’s wines.

The Hotel
Gleaming with a 2011 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, the Dimora Casa Eugenia is a work of art itself with chandeliers, ceramic tiled floors, and a frescoed lounge. The Tuscan authenticity continues with a wine shop for tasting tannins, and the breakfast terrace soaks up the sun with panoramic views over the river. Lavender, olive oil, and grape infusions waft from the wellness baths, with an onsite therapist offering a mix of massage pamperings for those romantic extras.
Groupon Recommends
Take advantage of the complimentary wine tasting tour at the Castello d’ Albola village farm amidst the picturesque hills of Chianti, and wander the 157 hectare estate and vineyards. While in Loro Ciuffenna, view the ruins of the village’s ancient watermill and admire the medieval architecture of the original Roman-built bridge. For a day out in the city, the hotel is perfectly equidistant to Arezzo and Florence; about a 30 to 40 minute drive from each. Hunt out the Romanesque landmarks in Arezzo’s Piazza Grande, the city’s main square surrounded by museums, churches, and amphitheatres, or wander the exceptional art galleries in Florence and make sure to at least window shop in one of the few fashion capitals of the world.
