The Hotel
Set in a partially-wooded 28 acre park, the Silvercliffs Holiday Village commands impressive views over the rugged sweep of Ballycastle Bay and towards Rathlin Island. A traditional bar and snooker tables provide ample distraction, an indoor swimming pool with a slide enables guests to make a splash, and an entertainment schedule books up various evenings with a variety of performances. Little ones can also find plenty to occupy them with a play area complete with wobbly walkways and swings outdoors.
Groupon Recommends
Take a 30-minute drive to the Giant's Causeway to check out the 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, then test your mettle on the nearby nerve-racking Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. Travel a few minutes more to see Dunluce Castle sitting atop a basalt crag, with its majestic medieval ruins ripe for exploration, or give courage a boost with a tour of one of the oldest whiskey distilleries in the world at Bushmills.
