With the Grade II-listed Portman Square Gardens on the doorstep and a terrace for al fresco entertaining, the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel offers a little leafiness amid the bustle of the West End. The rooms come with Queen-sized beds and plenty of wood furnishings, while the leisure centre offers a full workout for those who don't fancy a jog around Hyde Park. Committed thespians will be spoilt for choice by the generous spread of theatres in the West End, with the buzzing bright lights and the bells of cycle rickshaws on Shaftesbury Avenue disappearing into the curiosities of Chinatown. Heading south west through Piccadilly Circus and Green Park will lead visitors to the familiar sight of Buckingham Palace, before heading east through St. James’ Park towards Big Ben and Westminster Bridge. Curling north then brings artistic types to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery’s changing programme of exhibits.

Amazing location, only couple minutes walk from Oxford Street shops. Very quiet area (really nice for busy Central London). All the transportation is amazingly easy to access. Hotel staff was very helpful! The only suggestion - it would be nice for the bathrooms to be updated

Close to Oxford street and Hyde Park. Good for a run in the morning. Underground is appox 8 min walk away. The rooms and breakfast are good. And the personnel is extremely smiling and helpful.
