l spent a very pleasant 3 days at this hotel, on arrival l found the receptionist to be very helpful and friendly the room was very spacious, very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was served by very friendly staff, the dining areas are pleasant, the leisure centre is very nice and the staff are lovely. The staff in the evening restaurant were also very friendly.

Just spent Fri and Sat night in the Ashdown with my husband. We ate in the restaurant Fri night and was very impressed the standard of food and choice along with the professional service made it a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The bar food on Sat night was excellent [sic] and again we experienced a very relaxed atmosphere.
