Overlooking St Aubin’s Bay, Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa is a lavish 5 star concoction of contemporary elegance and award-winning facilities. Greeted with a glass of bubbly, pairs can be escorted to a plush room, royally clad in rich fabrics and lavish furnishings. Large feature beds are adorned with fine linen and soft feather pillows and the warm coloured rooms are bathed in designer lighting with state-of-the-art technology including LCD plasma televisions and internet access. Bathrooms feature luxury amenities and guests can snuggle up in soft robes and slippers after exploring the hotel’s opulent spa - winner of the UK Residential Spa of the Year 2009 and 2010. The hotel also boasts a 3AA Rosette awarded restaurant, 'Tassili' which also won its first Michelin Star earlier this year, serving British gourmet with a Jersey twist, along with a brassiere and decadent champagne lounge for glamorous evening soirees.
Donning the hiking boots and exploring the terrain is a must for Jersey visitors, be it from slow sandy strolls to energetic cliff-top hikes. Historic castles and forts sprinkle the coastline, with Elizabeth Castle built on a rocky inlet in St Aubin’s Bay being particularly charming. It is worth noting, however, that it is only accessible by a low tide causeway or castle ferries. Among the wealth of museums, The Jersey War Tunnels are a permanent reminder of the WWII German occupation of the island, and the Jersey Museum and Art Gallery showcase 250,000 year old Bronze Age artefacts to surrealist movement collections.
St Helier proffers a vast selection of stylish boutiques and fine dining restaurants living up to its financial district status of the Channel Islands. With many eateries boasting locally sourced seafood produce as well as the classic Jersey Royal potatoes, visitors are sure to sample a taste of island specialities as well as an encompassing fare of French and British influences. With the hotel perched on the edge of the capital, many bank branches including HSBC and Santander can be easily found in the town, and the tourist information centre is a stone’s throw from the hotel’s terrace.

Guests have enjoyed their stay at the Grand Jersey, with many praising the picturesque sea view and accommodating staff. 378 TripAdvisor users awarded the hotel a king-sized 4/5 stars, while an impressive 93% of reviewers on LateRooms would stay again.
The rooms were good, and staff were very helpful, especially the concierge service. We all enjoyed spending time in the Spa which was very relaxing. The Grand Jersey is well positioned overlooking the bay, yet only a short walk to the centre of St Helier.

A first class hotel walking distance to the town centre of St Helier but also just over the road from the sea and a huge expanse of beach. I can't fault the hotel from the check in through to the check out. The hotel staff are all very professional and helpful, it seems that nothing is too much trouble.
