The Graune Pet Farm cottage offers rustic accommodation in the heart of a rural idyll, with roses growing over its whitewashed walls and a little red door beneath a thatched roof. The kitchen comes fully equipped with pots and pans for impromptu percussion lessons, and there's space for a troupe of six part-time farmhands. Guests can head over to the pet farm and play centre, making friends with as many of the farm animals as possible, from Patch the goat to Jack and Jill the pot-bellied pigs.
Explore the farm at close quarters, spotting emus and llamas and perhaps picking out favourites among the kittens and puppies. Snowy the pony will be happy to take guests for a ride, having secured the role despite stiff competition from donkeys Daisy, Doc, Arkle, and Jenny. The indoor play centre has an inflatable kingdom, an indoor pedal-karting track, and a restaurant for those who need a little refuelling. Adventures farther afield could involve a stroll around Lough Caheer to the north, with expert eyes on the lookout for wilder wildlife.
