Like the top of a coffee table and chat-up lines, the epidermis is best when smooth. Make advances on your skin with today’s Groupon from The Skin Specialist. Choose from the following options:
• €49 for two skin tag, wart or milia treatments (Up to 80% off)• €89 for four skin tag, wart or milia treatments (Up to 81% off)
Shortwave Diathermy Treatment For Warts
Diathermy treatments use an oscillating electric current of high frequency waves. To slightly numb the skin, a topical anaesthetic cream is usually applied to the area being treated, such as a mole, wart, thread vein, or skin tag niggle. Next, a technician applies a fine needle to the area, which conducts an electrical current of specifically selected frequencies, and can produce a warm sensation.
Skin Tag and Milia Treatments
A sterile needle or probe will be used tackle the protrusion, with the needle inserted under the tag, or a probe piercing the milia to create an opening.
The Merchant
Sitting at the head of The Skin Specialist, Bernie Fahy brings over 19 years of advanced skincare expertise to the table. From blackheads to red vein treatments, she offers a colourfully broad spectrum of aesthetic treatments at her Galway and Mayo clinics, with opening times of 9am to 9pm in the pot at end of the rainbow.
The Session
Carting their cabooses to the Mayo clinic from Monday to Thursday, or to the Galway location on Fridays, clients can get the wagon wheels rolling on the two or four skin tag, wart or milia treatments. Once a consultation settles conundrums, each 15-minute treatment aims to resolve epidermal grievances either using a needle or the short-wave diathermy current. Further matters can be put to rest with 25% off the next treatment.
