Gardens across north Dublin city and county will be in tiptop shape for a spring awaking thanks to an autumn and winter maintenance. Tended to by a maintenance expert, patches of land will be treated to grass cutting, plant pruning and flower bed clearing.
Groupon Asks owner of 4 Gardens, Sebastian Kuzmicz, what makes a garden blossom into a work of art.
G: What's your favourite thing about your job?
"Spending time outdoors and creating something that stays for many years. It gets better every year."
G: What quick tips do you have for garden maintenance?
"Spend a couple of minutes working on it every second day and you'll see the benefits. Don't be afraid to prune and cut back your plants, most of them will respond very well."
G: What's your favourite plant, and why?
"No one plant in particular, but I do love perrenials. Although they may need a little care nothing gives as much colour in the garden, or is as great a reward."
G: What's a garden's best friend?
"Imagination. There is nothing better. Each view of the garden should create different points of interest."
