Returning guests Hotel is conveniently located so we decided to return, this time rented a car, there sis ample parking space at a cost within the shopping center and direct access to the hotel. We loved the rooms and possibility to have a quick meal within leaving the hotel whether it is in Papa's restaurant or at your bedroom (there is two supermarkets in the shopping center). Also front desk was quite nice and friendly faces -Maria. Breakfast was a bit overcrowded in the first day... but we managed. Overall fantastic place to stay.

Groupon’s Guide To Amsterdam

Sitting on the south bank of IJ Lake, Amsterdam is a port city connected to the North Sea, with Amstel River flowing through from south to north. Mixing vibrant nightlife and many diverse festivals with Renaissance architecture and cultural events, Amsterdam, the capital city of Netherlands, is a convenient spot for exploration and relaxation.

Guests can take a breath of fresh air with a stroll through the Erasmus Park, where ponds, gardens and local attractions make for a nice day of adventure or lazing in the sunshine. Moving inside, travellers can visit the Van Gogh Museum, which exhibits the works of the great master alongside pieces painted by his contemporaries. In this city of many tastes, tourists may enjoy the Asian or Indonesian cuisine at one of the city’s restaurants or have dessert in one of the famous pancake houses, before renting a bicycle for a refreshing ride along the canals. Amsterdam also boasts shopping streets, filled with a wide range of stores and street markets selling food and clothes.

The weather in the capital city of the Netherlands features an oceanic climate, strongly influenced by the North Sea. The temperatures during the summer season are mild, with the average high of about 20°C. The city gets a great level of sunshine throughout the season. However, the average low temperature, especially in the evenings, reaches about 12°C. Starting from mid-September, autumn is a rainy and wet period, with October having an average of 13°C and November one of 9°C. Amsterdam rarely sees the temperatures drop below 0°C in winter, with the average high around of 5°C. The level of sunshine drops to one hour per day in December, but this improves as the season progresses. In the spring, the weather starts to heat up. Although March and April are still chilly, May is often very pleasant with highs reaching 20°C.

Very nice well presented hotel. Relatively new hotel on South side of Amsterdam a little out of the city centre but well served with public transport. We had a junior suite which was excellent very clean well presented. Very little in the way of bars and restaurants in the immediate area but a small shopping centre on the doorstep. Breakfast was good if a bit chaotic at peak times.

Convenient location, cozy hotel and friendly hotel staff Convenient location A good location. Near Zuid station so you can easily travel to another cities. Also, there are many bus stations and tram stations around. The best is this neighborhood is very quiet. Not like the central Amsterdam full of tourists. So I do have so good rests. There is a small shopping mall right next to the hotel. Very easy to do some shopping. Friendly staff I love the breakfast in Element. Papa is a very cozy restaurant, and food is fresh and delicious. And I want to give a shoutout to Pansy. She is very friendly and super kind! She gave me a lot of tips to travel around. And she always checked in with me to see if I need anything. Also, I love Gaby’s smile! _

Will definitely stay again next time This hotel is conveniently located inside a shopping mall, making it incredibly accessible. The continental hot breakfast is delightful, and Pansy provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms come equipped with a kitchen, and with supermarkets located downstairs in the mall, it’s perfect for family travelers looking for convenience and comfort.
