Fantastic hotel! Not really sure what all the bad reviews are about! Totally can’t believe these reviews are about the hotel I stayed in! It was fantastic. Customer service was spot on, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and immaculate! The manager couldn’t do enough for us wouldn’t definitely return!

The Hotel

Located in Bos en Lommer district, the G Experience Hotel is located within walking distance from the centre of Amsterdam and city’s attractions such as Het Schip building and Anne Frank House.

All rooms feature marble floors along with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. Toiletries and towels are also included.

A halal breakfast is served in the mornings onsite while Asian and Indonesian meals can be enjoyed at Warung Solo within a short walk of the venue.

Never again Forget this ‘hotel’. Airco not very well working, room warm and dampy, window is damp due to to low or no ventilation. Guy downstairs asked three time my room number and didn’t write it down when I complained. No service at al. Shower thermos tab not working, just low temp water. Noisy hotel. Won’t book this one again!!!!

Worst hotel in the Netherlands. Very rude staff and arrogant manager who had the one set goal of making money. Male "worker" knocked on our door at night and tried to enter the room despite my protests (didn't give a reason why he wanted/needed to). Fire alarm went off at 7 AM with no explanation as to why. Room had no radiator or heater, no hair dryer or iron either. We were given one by a staff member (free of charge as you would expect) but then saw guests asking the manager for one when we were checking out and he was charging them for it :/. Ceiling broken in corridor with wires hanging out. Room was not cleaned and bedsheets were not changed once over the three nights we spent in the room. Hotel is not safe nor secure (Between guests and staff) and I would not advise leaving passports, valuables etc. anywhere in sight in the room.

Avoid! Don't recommend this hotel at all! Manger was extremely rude & unhelpful.There was no sense of security whatsoever, we had a man knock on our room at 8 in the evening he then opened the door and barged his way past us as we tried to hold the door shut. The Safe in the room did not work so we had nowhere to keep passports and belongings safe. The rooms we're extremely unclean with marks & stains on the sheets & towels and there was no sign of Housekeeping as our bed was left unmade each day. The fire alarm went of at ungodly hours of the morning. We got charged extra after leaving the hotel, why?? No clue as we insured to leave the room spotless. If your looking for a peaceful getway AVOID this hotel at all costs, absolute rip off!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE, huge scam, awful service, rude staff I wanted a relaxing stay for my vacation. Was woken up by loud construction inside in the hallway not even one foot from door at 9am, fire alarm test at 7am next night. Spoke to manager who said “it’s legal I don’t care about customer experience” I have him on video saying this posted to my TikTok. When I complained about construction cleaning service LEFT GARBAGE IN MY ROOM that did not belong to me and was not there when I arrived. No remorse, no apology. Staying here was the lowlight of my one month vacation - it is hell here. After they put garbage in my room I was afraid they would mess with my luggage or touch my money/passport was scared the whole stay but couldn’t get refund. Please save yourself and stay somewhere else.
