Michelle and Carmel’s stay at the Castle Arch Hotel Trim From the moment myself and my friend entered the Castle Arch Hotel we were met with an extremely friendly courteous reception staff member. The room was very very clean and comfortable . The room offer included our evening meal which was outstandingly delicious. I had steak served on a bed of onions and mash with pepper sauce on the side. My Friiend had a scrumptious carbonara with prawns added as requested . The serving staff Rennell was most gracious and brilliant at her job and did her utmost to ensure we were well catered for. I would highly recommend this hotel for cleanliness comfort value for money and above all the top notch high standard restaurant quality of food to include breakfast the following morning. Well done everybody at the Castle Arch Hotel

Avoid at weekends if you want sleep, and management to respond! Impossible to Sleep (avoid at all costs at the weekend) I’ve waited a couple of days to give the general manager time to call and discuss this stay so it’s time to post my honest review (it’s a complaint letter)! I booked this hotel specifically for its advertised "quiet and serene" environment, needing proper rest (I was lecturing all weekend). Unfortunately, my three-night stay was a masterclass in failed hospitality and broken promises, defined by a complete lack of proactive care and transparency. Here is the exact noise timeline: · Night 1: Was quiet and comfortable, as expected. Ironically, this was the cheapest night of the three. · Night 2: Music from an on-site event was audible but finished at 10 PM. I messaged the hotel about this disturbance but received no response, missing their clear opportunity to rectify the situation for my final night. · Night 3: The situation was intolerable. At one stage I even considered sleeping in my car! The music was far louder and, along with the subsequent cleanup, created disruptive noise levels that persisted until approximately 2:30 AM. The hotel's solution after the fact was to offer cheap, ineffective earplugs—an insult for a room costing over £110 per night. I was forced to attend my conference obligations sleep deprived, which was both unprofessional and reputationally damaging. The management's handling was the true failure. There was no prior warning: the event was not mentioned on their website, their Expedia profile, or by the receptionist at check-in. Their claim to have tried calling me was false (no missed calls), and a critical notice was buried in a document link sent to my spam folder. Most egregiously, despite my early complaint, I was never offered an alternative room and was seemingly left in a highly affected area. I am still waiting for a response to these issues three days later! Their disclaimer about making "every effort" to minimise impact felt like a cruel joke. No meaningful effort was made. I was trapped, paying for a room that was unfit for purpose on the most expensive night. I had to favour an extra half hour in bed so had no time to eat the breakfast I had paid for on Sunday! The consequences extended beyond simple inconvenience. As someone with a disability, the lack of sleep severely aggravates a chronic back condition, causing significant pain during Sunday. This physical toll directly impacted my professional performance during my Sunday teaching session. I was visibly shattered, and this was noted by my students in their session evaluations—an embarrassing and unprofessional outcome directly resulting from the hotel's lack of care for its guests. This experience was a breach of consumer trust and duty of care. The hotel clearly prioritises its events over guest well-being. If that is their policy, they should stop selling rooms to non-event guests on those nights. If you are one of those potential guests in the future you might want to find another hotel! I have rarely felt so disregarded as a customer. This stay was an expensive, stressful, and disgraceful failure that I would strongly warn others to avoid. The fact that management couldn’t care less to follow up on this complaint is evidence that hospitality is a misnomer!

50th Birthday party ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Castle Arch Hotel Review Castle Arch Hotel is truly outstanding and remains my number one hotel in Ireland. This was my second time hosting an event at the hotel, and the experience was even better than the first. Each time, the service has been exceptional — warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. The staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly, making the entire process stress-free. The hospitality, beautiful setting, and attention to detail were top class, and our guests were thoroughly impressed. I would confidently recommend Castle Arch Hotel anytime and anywhere to anyone looking for quality service, comfort, and a team that genuinely cares. I look forward to many more events here in the future!
