Comfort and lovely staff Had a lovely one night stay here recently and would recommend if you are staying in Connemara. It was near end of season so relatively quiet (there were bus loads of kids here to do activities, but they are in a sperate block of the hotel). Three stand-out things for me were: 1 - the wait staff in the bar & restaurant upstairs were lovely (friendly, attentive and just lovely!) 2. - our room was quite large and bed so comfy! 3. - the setting and view - remarkable!

Characterized by rolling hills, boglands, crystal-clear lakes, and a dramatic Atlantic coastline, Connemara offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the country. The region is home to Connemara National Park, where visitors can hike through diverse terrain and spot native wildlife. Traditional Irish culture is deeply rooted here, with many locals speaking Irish (Gaeilge) as their first language. Picturesque villages like Clifden, Roundstone, and Leenane provide a warm welcome, offering cozy pubs, local crafts, and vibrant music. Outdated and overpriced We booked in for 2 nights after our wedding. From the pictures online and the 4 star rating we were expecting a luxurious stay. We were disappointed. While the hotel is average it is very outdated and a lot of the areas were fusty. We ate in the restaurant both nights. The first night the food was not great at all both of us didn’t finish our meal. The second night the food was of a much better quality. We checked into the spa both days as a treat. This was disappointing. The first treatment was good but the facilities need a complete revamp. The overall atmosphere within the hotel and spa was old, quiet and a bit eerie. The staff within the hotel had very little English and struggled to understand simple requests. Overall we had a very disappointing stay the price point does not match the experience

Delightful Delphi Spent 3 wonderful days and nights with my family in October. Everything and everyone was so warm and friendly from the start. The staff are lovely and the service from Stella and the team in the restaurant was excellent, top notch actually. They have a tv room for the kids with adjacent tables which made a far more enjoyable dining experience for everyone. The food was sensational. Throughout. The slow cooked lamb was a winner for us but we ate there every night and everything was great. The adventure hub next door was a massive winner for everyone. The staff there were also excellent and so friendly. Special shout out to Chris and Shaun who the kids loved. Shame we didnt have more time for events but we will be back, 100%. Only negative comment is the beds were two single beds pushed together rather than a double. And the Guinness in the bar wasn't great. Otherwise 10/10.

Unique , ultimate R &R Our stay at Delphi Resort was an unforgettable autumn escape—where nature, luxury, and tranquility intertwined perfectly. The golden-hued days began with leisurely strolls through rustling leaves, crisp mountain air brushing against our cheeks, each step leading us deeper into the beauty of Connemara’s untamed wilderness. Adventures awaited just beyond the trail—whether hiking rugged paths or breathing in the peace of the glacier mountains that surrounded the resort like silent, majestic guardians. Every view from the hotel felt like a postcard for the soul, with sweeping vistas that soothed and inspired in equal measure. After a day outdoors, we returned to the comforting embrace of Delphi’s fine dining. Each meal was a thoughtful celebration of flavor—seasonal, local, and artfully prepared. And in between moments of movement and rest, the steamy aroma of Nespresso coffee curled through the air, warming our hands and spirits. The Wellness Spa was a sanctuary all its own.The ritual bath soak was deeply therapeutic—a serene soak that seemed to wash away more than just the day’s dust. The steam room and sauna offered the ultimate indulgence, while the outdoor jacuzzi, nestled in the wild beauty of the landscape, felt nothing short of magical. As mist rolled over the mountains and into the valley below, we sank deeper into comfort, letting nature do its quiet work of healing. Delphi wasn't just a resort—it was an experience, a retreat into stillness and sensation, adventure and pampering. It was everything an autumn getaway should be.
