The Treatment
What is a dental crown?
Crowns are used to entirely cover damaged teeth in order to restore their function and appearance. An implant is required to hold the crown in place, with bone augmentation performed in preparation.
What happens at sessions?
A consultation will be carried out in advance, and if the client is found to be suitable, the implant and crown will be installed at a subsequent treatment session. Radiographic images will be taken if deemed necessary, and bone augmentation is available.
What preparation is required?
Clients are advised to maintain good dental hygiene beforehand, possibly by visiting a hygienist to ensure teeth are in optimum condition for dental work.

Restrictions: Valid Mon-Fri 9am-6pm. Must be 18 or older. New customers only. Does not include OPG X-Ray, extractions, temporary denture or bridge, all ceramic crown, or gingival contouring crown. Valid for Alpha Bio dental implant, porcelain bonded to metal white crown, and bone augmentation (unless bone needs to be harvested as a block from another site or needs more than 2mm in width and 1mm in height). A CT scan may be required to determine sufficient bone in which to place an implant. Not suitable for those with uncontrolled heart conditions, uncontrolled diabetes, connective tissue diseases and certain bleeding disorders. Please call prior to booking or consult your GP if unsure. Consultation required at least 3 days prior to treatment. Any health issues must be stated at the consultation, if unsuitable for treatment a full refund will be provided. GDC number: 16/12
