Q&A with Stena Line
When’s the best time to sail on Stena Line and get the cheapest tickets?
The Low Fare Finder is an ideal way to find affordable tickets. Don’t forget to use your Stena Line offers as well to get even more value for money. Economy tickets are the cheapest option, but if you think you’ll need to change your journey, choose a Flexi ticket to avoid any amendment costs.
Stena Line Black Friday Discount Codes
Black Friday is well on its way, with major offers from Friday 25 November to Cyber Monday on the 29. Last year Stena Line Ireland gave up to 25% off bookings with an exclusive Black Friday discount code! There was also the chance for passengers to grab extra savings onboard with their retail outlet slashing up to 50% off luxury items such as perfumes, homeware and designer handbags!
What payment methods does Stena Line accept?
When booking online you can pay with a MasterCard, Visa or Visa Debit card. Tesco Clubcard vouchers can also be used to book a trip on some routes.
What will I need to bring with me for my Stena Line trip?
For check-in, you’ll need your booking confirmation number as well as an appropriate form of ID. Irish and British citizens can use a driver’s license, citizenship card or utility bill as ID on routes from Ireland to Britain. For children, a birth certificate is also accepted. For services to the rest of Europe, a valid passport is required for everyone sailing, including children.
Can I change my Stena Line booking once it’s confirmed?
You can easily make changes to your bookings by clicking on the Login/Manage Booking tab of the Stena Line site, signing into your account, and following the instructions from there. If you’re cancelling your booking, refunds will go back to the card that you used to buy the tickets.
When do I have to check in for my Stena Line sailing?
Check-in times vary depending on the route you’re travelling. Check your ticket confirmation for guidelines on when you should get to the port and what time you must be checked-in by to sail.
