Starting journeys from Portobello Harbour, one or two watersportsmen and women can paddle along the Grand Canal in a kayak or canoe for an hour or two. While meandering along the historically significant canal, they’ll glide through seven open bridges and will cover five and a half kilometres in total, reaching Inichore and then paddling back to the starting point. Armed with lifejackets and buoyancy aids for optimum safety, sightseers will be able to bring along a child aged between six and 12 for no extra charge.
Choose from the following options for kayaking or canoeing:
€12 for one hour for one person
€20 for two hours for one person, or one hour for two people
€35 for two hours for two people
