The Hotel

Nestled just off the A4 motorway, Best Western CTC Hotel Verona offers four-star acommodations on the outskirts of Verona. City Centre and Verona airport can be reached with a short car drive, but travellers can also use public transport with one bus and two train stations located within 5km from the hotel. History aficionados can visit the nearby Lazzaretto, Parrocchia di Pozzo and Castelvecchio Museum. Arts and literature lovers can see Juliet's Tomb from the famous Shakespeare play or experience a real Italian opera at Arena di Verona.

Verona is a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting historical buildings dating back to the medieval times. Famed as the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, this northern Italian city comes draped in artistry and architecture.

Travellers may head to the Roman Arena to marvel at one of the most complete examples of early first-century architecture. They can follow the flow to the Casa di Giulietta for a peek at the balcony made famous by Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers, then duck into the Chiesa di Santa Anastasia to stand beneath the Gothic vaulted ceiling of Verona's largest church, decorated with the frescoes of Pisanelli. Guests can stroll along the banks of the river or wander a sleepy cobbled street, or make tracks to the Giardino Giusti for the lush profusion of a sculpted garden. Verona boasts a subtropical and a Mediterranean climate. The warm season lasts from 16 June to 6 September and is characterised by humidity, with average highs of 34ºC and low temperatures between 16-17ºC. Over the summer, the common form of precipitation is moderate rain. In autumn temperatures rarely pass 23ºC, offering suitable conditions for leisurely strolls and sightseeing.
