The Golden Triangle Tour

This five-night Indian adventure offers the opportunity to discover some of the hidden secrets of this mysterious nation on the fringes of the Himalayas. Visitors will explore the legendary Golden Triangle, beginning in the heart of Delhi where Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutab Minar may be admired. Further away, in the city of Jaipur, also known as the Pink City of India, travellers will enjoy an elephant ride and see the Amber Fort and the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. En route to Agra, a city known for its Mughal architecture, tourists will have the chance to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the old deserted town of the Mughal Empire, while the world-famous Taj Mahal awaits further away. Guests will stay in some luxury hotels including the SK Premium Park in New Delhi, Park Prime or Aurum in Jaipur and The Retreat in Agra. A private car and driver will take guests between destinations, and introduce them to the true India during this expedition to the home of the snow leopard.

The Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival at Delhi and transfer to SK Premium Park Hotel.

• Day 2: Breakfast followed by visits to Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutab Minar. Drive pass Red Fort, India Gate and the President House. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

• Day 3: After breakfast, depart to the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur (approx. a six-hour drive). Check-in at choice between Park Prime or Aurum Hotel.

• Day 4: Breakfast. Morning visit to the imposing Amber Fort. Elephant ride at Amer and visits to the Royal Observatory, the City Palace Complex, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Overnight stay.

• Day 5: Breakfast and drive to Agra (approx. five hours). En-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri. Check-in at The Retreat in Agra.

• Day 6: Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal followed by breakfast. Visit the Red Fort and check-out from hotel. Drive back to Delhi (approx. 4 hours) and transfer to airport.
