Pet Expo

Celebrating its eighth year, Ireland’s Family Pet Expo provides visitors with an array of stands to peruse with products and services, demonstrations and more. With the emphasis on promoting responsible pet ownership, the event offers various chances to learn principles of pet selection and training, as well as find out more about pet adoption. Areas dedicated to dogs, cats and birds are on-hand, as well as smaller furry critters or exotic reptiles, with an Ask the Vet clinic offering visitors all sorts of advice on pet care. The event features entertainment ranging from a petting zoo to dog agility shows and a chance to try out some dog games or pick up some training tips, with dogs able to accompany their owners on a lead for the day. Entry is available for two adults (usually €8.50 per person), or a family of two adults and two children between the ages of three and 15 years old (€25) to either day, with the venue offering wheelchair access.
