The Deal
Aspiring seafarers can learn the ropes with a three-hour lesson (usually €69) from Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School. Participants will climb aboard the 26-foot 1720 sportsboat to learn the basics of sailing. Waterproof clothing and life jackets will be provided, and the yacht is designed to be comfortable and easy to manage with the aid of internal buoyancy tanks. Lessons are available on selected Saturdays and Sundays.
