Further diversions can be found roughly 12km north at Dunmore Cave, with exemplary calcite formations and a rather gruesome Viking past. Reviews The Kilford Arms Hotel received a dreamy 4/5 from TripAdvisors, while wellrested Booking.com users awarded 8/10. Visitors praised the hotel’s location and the friendly staff along with the striking décor of the public areas. We had the best time, didn’t actually need to leave the hotel as the nightclub is connected to it. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was quite good too. – michey23, TripAdvisor, Jul 2012 Both management and staff were hospitable and professional without being intrusive and I loved the architecture in the back bar. The hotel is centrally located and the breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay there when next in Kilkenny. – 415RM, TripAdvisor, Jul 2012
