The Sugarloaf Restaurant takes advantage of its thriving surroundings, with a menu whose mainstays include fresh seafood from Bantry Bay and an allround view of the dinner’s former home.  The hotel’s ensuite double rooms are wellappointed with tea and coffeemaking facilities, TVs, and West Cork cookies for a crunchy welcome. Guests will also have use of the Westlodge relaxation and leisure centre, where a heated swimming pool accompanies a sauna, steam room, and gym for a spot of optional exercise. Each morning will be embarked upon with the hotel’s hearty full Irish breakfast and a long list of potential activities, such as bracing walks and welldeserved sauna sessions. Reviews Westlodge Hotel received a plush 7.4/10 from Booking.com users, while TripAdvisor rated the hotel an encouraging 3/5. While the décor split some opinions, visitors noted the hotel’s convenient location for exploring Bantry and gave special mention to the attentive staff. Every single one of the staff were wonderful. They were the friendliest, most helpful staff we’ve encountered anywhere.
