Adults (€9.50), children (€5) and families (€25) can pay a visit to Cobh Heritage Centre to learn about the town's unique origins and history in this multimedia exhibition. They can learn the tragic story of the Lusitania which sank off Cork harbour, about Annie Moore who was the first immigrant processed on America's Ellis Island, or Cobh's place in the tale of the ill-fated Titanic. They can also experience life on board a convict ship destined for Australia in the early 19th century, and discover any Irish ancestry they may have with the genealogy recordfinder service. There's an on-site cafe serving a selection of hot meals, pastries, sandwiches, soups and drinks to nourish visitors.
