Just 30 minutes outside of Dublin, this family-run hotel is a stark contrast to city life, sitting at the heart of 186 acres of rolling parkland. Its 131 individually styled bedrooms range from a deluxe room (usuallly €125 per night) to duplex suite and house all mod cons including flat screen televisions and free Wi-Fi. The eighteen-hole championship golf course (€60) covers 7,200 yards of parkland, while guests looking for relaxation can visit the heated treatment rooms with tropical showers, salt grotto, essence steam rooms and herbal sauna. Fine dining is catered for in their Rococo restaurant where guests can enjoy a three-course meal from the set menu. The hotel also houses two bars for cocktails and coffee.
