Located in central Ardara, just a short walk from the bay area, the Nesbitt Arms Hotel welcomes holidaymakers to a refreshing break on Donegal’s coast. A stone’s throw from this abode, tourists may head to the Ardara Heritage Centre, where Donegal’s tweed industry is described and put on display. Outdoorsy types may enjoy visiting the portal-tome of Kilclooney or fishing in the Owenea River, found just a short drive from the hotel. The en suite rooms are decked out in warm shades of gold and rust, with matching carpets and upholstered chairs, and come fitted with TVs and hot drink-making facilities. Decorated in warm burgundy and cream tones, the Weavers Restaurant serves up a wide variety of local dishes such as seafood chowder and Grilled Sirloin Steak, alongside homemade desserts. The informal bar area is kitted out with light wood furnishings, and offers guests a variety of fine tipples, wines and malt whiskies.
