- Dutch Iris in shades of purple and maroon, each petal splashed with yellow
- From modern plant breeding, Iris Metallic Mixture is hardy and easy to grow in beds, borders and containers
- Will flower late spring and early summer from May onwards
- The architectural blooms are borne on strong, straight stems
- At maturity expect a height of 50cm (20’’) and spread of 15cm (6’’)
- Supplied as bulbs, bulb size 7/8
- Plant in autumn, at a depth of approximately twice their own height and 10cm (4’’) apart
- Choose a position in full sun on any free-draining soil
- Alternatively, plant bulbs in deep containers of loam-based compost ** Bulbs are not edible, keep away from children and pets
