A beginner or intermediate course in criminology examines the criminal psyche, and the effects that crimes have on the society and the law. The online beginners’ syllabus will focus mainly on murder cases, giving students an insight into how to spot clues from the lifestyle of the victim, as well as the perpetrator’s identity. The intermediate course looks at how crime affects the society, and how different cases should be looked at in an attempt to solve them. At the end of each module, students will complete a multiple choice test and must gain a passing score before they can move on to the next one. They will also receive tutor support via email for any questions they might have.
